Michelle Senayah

Michelle is passionate about public space and what happens in it. With a background in architecture, urban design and community engagement, she has worked around the world in both urban and rural settings on projects ranging from the design and construction of village schools to the environmental master-planning of new cities. As Director of Programming at Open Streets TO and Founding Director of The Laneway Project, Michelle works collaboratively with Torontonians – Residents’ Associations, BIAs, municipal staff, cultural and civic organizations, Councillors, universities and more – on the adaptation and improvement of the way that we think about, plan, design, use and regulate our city’s streets and laneways.
