Adil Dhalla

Adil Dhalla is the Director of Culture at the Centre for Social Innovation - a rapidly growing hub for innovative and entrepreneurial activity now home to over 1000 social purpose organizations in Toronto and New York City. As one of the first coworking places in the world, CSI has been a pioneer in its work around re-envisioning the future of work and indicative of their forward thinking, they created Adil’s role, one of the first of its kind globally. Previous to CSI, Adil worked as a community organizer for the Obama campaign, helped introduce micro lending technology to rural Tanzanian farmers and became a pioneer in the mobile video space when he launched My City Lives, a local video platform that had presence in 250 cities worldwide. In addition to his role at CSI, Adil is the Chair of the Board for the Stop Gap Foundation, an inspiring organization creating accessible cities that was recently awarded Samara’s Everyday Citizen Award and he is also the Co-Chair and Co-Founder of Camp Reset, the acclaimed summer camp for adults.
