Elizabeth Pagliacolo is a design journalist based in Toronto and a Strategist for EDIT: Expo for Design, Innovation and Technology, the biennial festival that Design Exchange will launch in 2017. Elizabeth is the former Senior Editor (and current online editor and contributing editor) at Azure magazine.
She has traveled the world to report on design fairs – including Salone del Mobile in Milan and the International Contemporary Furniture Fair in New York, and covered such international projects as Odile Decq's restaurant at the Paris Opera Garnier and Snøhetta's entrance pavilion for the 9/11 Museum in New York. She has interviewed the leading lights of modern architecture and design, such as Jean-Marie Massaud, Patricia Urquiola and Lawrence Scarpa, and participated on design juries in Toronto and New York. As a freelance writer, she has contributed to Canadian Architect, Azure, Designlines, Frame, the Globe and Mail, Metropolis, Interior Design and enRoute Edition.
